"The results are then weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, marital status, household size, income, employment, education, political party, and political ideology where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population".

We have zero idea how the weighting was done, and whether there is any statistical merit to the approach.

If the data is properly stratified, then randomly sample within the strata, why would one even need weighting? Unless of course, one was trying to get a specific result.

Yes; i'm accusing them of that.

Approval rating went down in 2 polls just yesterday. Then this outfit nobody has ever heard of uses methodology nobody knows and gets a different number.

Pretty suspicious.
