Please don't take this too lightly. I got a little nick on the inside of my finger when a glas broke a few years back. I put a bandaid on and went about my business...it only took less than an hour to notice the red streaks running into my palm. Seems I had nicked the tendon sheath and ended up having to have major surgery on my hand to save it.

If you aren't sure if it's infected on not...please have a Dr. look at it.
