would be succeeded by a Democrat, Pnw. Remember, every poll up until the last weeks had Hillary far ahead of that depraved orange clown. The Republican controlled congress's approval ratings were in the teens, and the senate was basically secured and even the house astonishingly but increasingly believed to be takeable. In the end, pollsters were stunned at how they could all have been so completely wrong for so long. We now know they weren't, of course.

And at least we know notorious RBG is very much still on the job. We can't know that for sure about whoever would have succeeded her. We're all with you in hoping she's right about her 5 more years, of course.
