Because 1 company, Fox, is functioning as State Media - the official propaganda arm of the Trump Regime. They will not support CNN et al in fighting back.

Not to mention Sinclair, Gateway Pundit, Breitbart, and the hordes of RW hate radio stations that have fomented this situation.

A coordinated, unified strategy would work, because the "Media" do not have coordinated, unified goals.

If there was one message they might agree on, it's that Trump needs to have a freaking press conference. 500 days plus since the last one. Enough of this one-way conversation.
