Saudi Arabia is a country that is not our own and over which we have no control.
Chick-fil-A brought itself into the political spotlight, and seeks to fight gay marriage through the hefty contributions to groups who work to fight gay marriage.
Saudi Arabia is not involved in gay rights in America in any way.
In other words, it's not what Chik-fil-A BELIEVES. It is its actions that caused the anger and boycotting.
Similarly, it is not what Saudi Arabia BELIEVES. It is its actions, or rather the fact that it has done nothing, to affect gay rights in America, which has resulted in little anger and no boycotting.
Two very different things. Besides, boycotting countries by American citizens doesn't really work. Remember the boycott by Tea Partiers of Perrier water from France?
