... tend to view Mormonism as Christians who have been sidetracked. Pretty much the same way mainliners view fundamentalist offshoots, and of course, the Roman Catholic church, and to a lesser extent the Orthodox church. The different mainline denominations of course disagree who is closer to the true Church than everyone else, but they rank their church cousins in order of how much they have sidetracked from their view.

I do view Mormons as Christians, just sidetracked ones.
