Has "being disrespectful" been against the LAW?!? 1st amendment!

IF the kid REALLY WAS being "disrespectful" (and there was no cause for it) then MAYBE I could go along w/ cuffing him and looking for mom and/or dad, presenting the situation to THEM and then play acting out something to scare the kid into being more appropriate (ASSUMING he wasn't, which, imo, with the hair-trigger snowflakes on the forces I've seen of late, I am NOT conceding). But IF. But totally sounds like the hair trigger cop went off the rails... WHY wouldn't he explain to the mother what her child had done? My guess b/c even the dumb cop knew it was a complete snowflake over reaction on his part and was EMBARRASSED to say.

Sounds like the cop was annoyed by the sound of the ball and asked the kid to stop at a normal conversational level, then when the kid did not comply, likely because he never heard the jackhole... then the cop yelled about he knew he could hear him, made a move for the kid, scaring him, and the kid ran... then the cop got MORE inappropriate.

Can the cop, sue the police for false arrest and get a decent start on a college fund for the kid...
