Most of the mainline Protestant Christians that I know do NOT view Mormons as Christians. In fact, claiming Mormons are Christians is one of their main problems with Mormonism.

And I'm not talking about fundie Christians, but your garden variety Christians - Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, etc.
