I have been around the block a time or two and I haven't heard a white person use the N-word in four decades. Interestingly I have heard people expressing casual anti-semitic sentiments and casual homophobic sentiments on several occasions during the same time period. You just don't use the N-Word if you're white.

The N word is verboten, silly discussions about how rappers use it notwithstanding. Even Eminem has never used it because he knows the word is not his to use.

I don't want to leave the impression I haven't heard my fair share of casual racism, just not the N-Word.
