(21,535 posts)43. I think "tapes" is just colloquial term - like Kleenex for a tissue. I still say I'm going to tape
a TV show when it's actually being captured digitally on the DVR hard drive in the cable box.
Omarosa is old school like a lot of us and she used "tape" to mean she recorded something digitally.
So simple to say "tape" versus "digital recording"
