The N.Y. Times has a section on Mondays where people send in blurbs about life in N.Y.C. One person wrote about a customer in Bloomingdale's. The customer was looking at a garment to give as a present to a relative. She spotted an elderly lady nearby and asked if the woman would try on the garment since she was the same size as the recipient of the garment. The customer obliged and was thanked as she walked away.

The clerk said, "Did you know that was Greta Garbo? She comes in here all the time."
