6. The crime is conspiracy.

Let's stop talking about "collusion" - the term is legally meaningless. When you "collude" for the purpose of committing a crime that's the crime of conspiracy, which is itself a crime even if you never committed the crime that was the purpose of the conspiracy. All you need to do in order to be guilty of conspiracy is take a material step in furtherance of the conspiracy, and that was taking the meeting with the Russians.
