Why do we only see pictures of king con with people behind him?

There are reports of persons being paid to attend his rallies. Do those payments come from the RNC or his campaign donations?Anyone know the hourly rate for attending? Do you get a wrist ID you turn in at the conclusion of the rally to get your payment?
is it cash?
