Idris Elba won’t get a license to kill after all.

The 45-year-old British actor, a fan favorite to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond, put the matter to rest Wednesday.

Stepping out with fiancée Sabrina Dhowre to attend his directorial debut “Yardie,” the suave actor was asked if he’ll assume the iconic spy role.

“No,” he told ITV’s “Good Morning Britain,” which presented him with a dry martini, Bond’s signature cocktail, and asked if preferred it shaken or stirred.

No word on who it will be.
