The 45-year-old British actor, a fan favorite to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond, put the matter to rest Wednesday.
Stepping out with fiancée Sabrina Dhowre to attend his directorial debut Yardie, the suave actor was asked if hell assume the iconic spy role.
No, he told ITVs Good Morning Britain, which presented him with a dry martini, Bonds signature cocktail, and asked if preferred it shaken or stirred.
No word on who it will be.
