34. A difference between us and them

Aug 2018

is that we don’t model our behavior on theirs and we don’t mete out compassion to people based on whether we think they are deserving of it.

That’s one way I can tell us apart - but maybe I’ve been mistaken and it turns out that some of us aren’t all that different from them, after all since they think the people they hate deserve it, too ...
