14. Why does the working class think Democrats left them behind?

Because after the Global Financial Crisis and eight years of GWB stripped their pensions, allowed health care costs to soar, sent their jobs overseas, took their house and their savings, the Democrats said "We need to move on. We don't need to prosecute the people who fucked you over and stole from you. We're going to play nice with the banks and the corporations and bail them out using your hard earned tax dollars and we're going to cave when they whine about more regulation and we're going to play nicey nice with the insurance industry and the Republicans over health care instead of going for single payer and we're going to play nicey nice with the Republicans over the charter schools and privatized standardized testing industry which are stripping money from your kids schools."

It's time for the Democrats to say "We're going to prosecute every single person who knowingly committed treason against this country, stole an American election, stoked racial hatred and division, split up families, stole money from the public purse, obstructed justice and then lied about it. When every single one of those motherfuckers is rotting in prison, then we're going to create jobs by rebuilding infrastructure, we're going to regulate the financial system properly, we're going to provide universal single payer healthcare and free college education and we're going to do something about gun violence."

Americans voted for hope and change in 2008 and the lesson they learned was that Democrats will walk away from what is right in the name of political expedience.

We're not going to win by being the party that refuses to do what is right and what obviously needs to be done because we're afraid of kicking the hornets nest on the right. The hornets are already swarming. It's time to bring in the fire hose.
