serve in the military, although all of the men in my life have and I have supported them... my husband in 2000 had a McCain bumper sticker on our truck... I was ok with that... and that was the only time I have been ok with being associated with a Republican 
John McCain was a man of his time and I believe a good man (with a bit of faulty Republican thinking 
)... may he rest in peace and sympathies to his family.
