Trump is like a black hole that must absorb all of the light. Nothing else can exist in his universe. And for that reason, lights like John McCain, Lebron James, Barack Obama or anyone else with a good heart must be degraded. Trump doesn't compare favorably to the lights of our society.
McCain is a legit war hero that spent 5+ years being beaten in a prison camp when he could have come home. McCain defended decency when he parried racist bullshit from his supporters.
LeBron is a an example for all athletes by working hard, being involved in the community, having one spouse, being involved in his kids lives, and staying out of trouble. He has found ways to give back to his community.
Obama is a guy that has tried to do things right despite significant personal adversity. He is good hearted and puts other people first.
How does Trump compare with these people? Trump is a womanizer, an abuser, a cheat, a racist. He needs all of the attention. He attacks these people because he can never compare favorably. Trump tries to bring them down to his trashy level. Trump can't believe that there are people out there that care for other people. Because for Trump, everything is about him.
Hopefully Trump is learning about legacy. People like McCain will be rememberd forever. People forget about the battles and judge the man. How Trump will be remembered is as a crook, a racist, and possibly as a convict. Trump will never escape his legacy of garbage. I hope he can deal with that.
