1. I get calls and mailers from the DNC and DCCC.

I tell them I'm spending my money on local elections (and presidential when applicable). Last year, it was for Gov. Northam's campaign. This year, I'm a monthly donor for both Senator Kaine and our local challenger for the House Leslie Cockburn. I ask to be removed from their call lists, but they keep calling.
