In reply to the discussion: Trump, Jr. to be indicted this week? [View all]MGKrebs
(8,138 posts)38. I would think it depends on what wrongdoing he finds.
If it's just lying on a form or 'inaccurate' testimony, then I would say it just becomes part of his final report. But if he finds something serious, like conspiracy with the Russians, or money laundering, I think he would indict and let the chips fall where they may.
He likely wouldn't indict without (what he feels like is) strong evidence, and I think he would feel compelled to either prosecute or refer serious crimes. In other words, I don't think he would fail to pursue serious crimes because of potential political ramifications. The justice system still has to do it's job even if the political system screws it up later.

The numerous indictments and guilty pleas seem much less dubious than you imply.

I join you in being skeptical about sources. Dworkin is a self-promoter first. . . . nt

The only think holding me back from believing it is that Roger Stone said the same thing.

Jr could be indicted by the state of NY and there isn't anything DT could do about it.

What has Jr been prosecuted for Federally? Nothing. But it's pretty likely he will be charged

People here tend to be astounded at how easily right wing voters fall for fake news, but...
