4. I wouldn't say idiots, but I see where you are coming from

There's the individual man and the collective man... the individual man can be intelligent and patient, the collective man has a shockingly low attention span, craves confirmation of pre-existing notions, thinks in binaries, wants to be entertained, etc.

Democrats want the facts on their side, we want expert opinions, we need things to be triple verified, we need photographic and video evidence. We give the people handouts, pamphlets, and manuscripts and we tell them "If you look at the header under subsection 432 of your third handout, you will see..."

Republicans say "CLINTON BODY COUNT!", "THE MUSLIMS ARE COMING! NO, THE MEXICANS! FORGET IT, BLACKS ARE AT IT AGAIN!", "BOO! LIBERAL!", and of course "LOOK AT THE EMAILS! DON'T YOU SEE?! DON'T YOU SEE "PIZZA!" AND PIZZA MEANS SEX GATE CONSPIRACY LED BY THE JEW GEORGE SOROS!"

That's why Republicans win.
