(56,199 posts)11. agreed. one of the things that's sometimes perplexing is how republicans can like him
given how utterly incompetent he is. i mean, i can understand liking his policies (even though i disagree with them strongly), but if i liked his policies, i'd be extremely frustrated and disappointed at how inept he was in delivering practically anything.
fortunately, though, that's what's saving the country. we'd be sunk if he were actually capable at delivering on his evil agenda.

Agreed. His numbers are atrocious given the state of the economy and the stock market.

add that to the list of ironies -- they called *hillary* polarizing and then went for donnie!

Last week was his worse ever, and I keep seeing these 41 and 46 percent approval ratings?

Look at the graphs at 538. His rating has been incredibly steady. It really doesn't matter...

For most Americans, "The Economy" is not the stock market. It's the paycheck and the bills.

Wages are stagnant but the economy isn't awful. We're not in a recession.

I would be content for his approval rating to stay at 41% through 2020, if he's still pres.

And it might. Cult45 doesn't seem to care what he does or says, or about negative press.
