10. Whether or not we have the majority has no bearing on whether a president should be impeached.

The Congress should vote its conscience. If they feel a president has committed serious crimes and transgressions, then they should vote to impeach. Whether or not the Senate will convict or whether or not it will affect the next election, should not be part of the equation. That's playing politics with a very serious issue, in my opinion.
