27. Can we please give up on the hypocrisy "gotcha"?

They don't care.
They know they are hypocrites.
It doesn't matter to them.
Nothing matters to them but pissing off Democrats and liberals.
That is it.
We need to stop pretending and stop listening to anyone who still thinks these people are sincere about anything or actually stand for anything.
They don't.

So spending even a millisecond of our time trying to catch them in or point out their hypocrisies is completely pointless.

Yes it's fun but it doesn't actually convince anyone of anything or make anyone rethink their positions.

And this includes the coveted "independents" who see stuff like this and think nothing more than "Oh yeah, well that's party politics for you. Both sides do this." and not "Oh wow. Yeah, those Republicans are total hypocrites. I definitely won't vote for them any more."
