Actually, they're getting paid while riding for free and tearing up the road behind them, which they're going to want repaired before they come back, and why should they have to pay for it?

Meanwhile, any public money spent on the public (unless it's for a new football stadium) is the rankest socialism, creates a culture of dependency,* and makes baby Jesus cry, you monsters.

*No, the oil industry isn't "dependent" on public money, so stop saying that!
