My hubby just gifted me with a new monitor and it's way brighter than my last one. It may be that I don't have the color settings quite right. I'll check on that because they are positively 70s avocado on my screen.

Edited to add: I'm not sure what I'm trying to avoid on the home front, but after checking my settings, I went and found a couple of other pictures of those couches and they are less avocado, but not quite brown. Love the accent pillows though. They have Michelle Obama written all over them. Obama's a great guy but Michelle is the one with the fashion touch. Unlike her predecessor. Now, I'm going to log off and figure out why I would spend so much time on a couch in the White House. LOL
