11. I get that.

I just take it as a given that Russia = oligarchy = mafia and that it has been so for years if not decades. In fact, I see what is and has been going on as a corrupt global elite that has just been doing what they do--laundering money, evading taxes, influencing policy and politics--finally beginning to be exposed. I think at least part of the reason Dump rants about unfairness and witch hunts is that This is What They All Do, and Have Been Doing...and now, suddenly, at least some people in power are objecting. In public. I even think it is fair to call it the Deep State...if you think of the Deep State as having been asleep at the switch for quite a while, and then suddenly waking up (a not-very-omniscient / omnipotent Deep State, but a Deep State nonetheless).

That's just me. I do think that Mueller was an inspired and inspiring choice to head this investigation and I hope it/he dives deep into the swamp. It/he may save us...along with voting all these mofos out.
