18. I agree. Governor is not an entry level job in government.

I could respect Nixon more if she ran for city council or statehouse, instead of running for Governor. That would show that she was serious about learning the ropes and doing the work. The vast majority of government is administrivia, meetings and budget spreadsheets. The minority of the job is "vision," speeches and parades.

I have to wonder if she feels that's not worth her time and energy, and doesn't want to be anywhere but NYC.
