(15,436 posts)$30K for the 2018 election cycle, and $50K for the 2016 election cycle to the Democratic PAC - Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy.
The only difference is that they donated directly to the California GOP, but indirectly to the California Democratic Party via a California business PAC that supports Democratic politicians.
It may be a religious or ideological issue - hell, maybe they were faked out by the PAC name and did it inadvertently - but they still donated to Dems.
They make multiple donations for the tax write-off and to be able to get a foot in the political door for when they need it, as does pretty much every other fast food organization.
As it is, I'm not surprised they give to republicans.
Successful fast food chains tend to have started out as more conservative-minded "family businesses".
Haele
