OMG! You Have to Ask? Hell yes!


When I first arrived at DU, almost six years ago, I was an Obama supporter. Always was. He had me at his keynote speech in 2004. When I got here I was amazed at the vitriol toward Obama. I joined The Barack Obama Group that gave members some protection, not much. For many, he just never did anything fast enough or good enough. For me, best President of my lifetime.

So, when I first got here I supported him in many ways, one was in pictures and I posted a lot of them. Sadly it pissed off a lot of people that disliked, to put it mildly, him. One member that left before my time did the same. Her DU name escapes right now (Jackeen?), yet she went on to be a very successful blogger by the name of chipsticks....her site The Obama Diary.

So anyway, I am still here and want to mark my 50K post with a picture or two.

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

I believe his quote to this day. Yes, someone threw us off a few steps, Russian and the trump Mafia. However we are the ones that we have been waiting for, so get the hell off your asses and vote as if your life, our future and our planet's survival depends on it. BECAUSE IT DOES!
