Mueller is very likely going to go strictly by the book. While there is no law, there are DOJ guidelines about this. Expect Mueller to follow this. However, Mueller has been extremely quiet the whole time. This just means he won't bring major indictments shortly before the election.

We can't do anything about Trump and Giuliani spouting nonsense.
