DOJ regulations discourage public announcements during campaigns when public opinion can be swayed regarding active candidates. So, Trumpy isn't up for re-election, Princess Ivanka isn't up for election (thankfully), Junior and Jared aren't, either. Neither is Wilbur (Cyprus Bank) Ross.

So, unless Mueller assumes that he must pay attention to GOP whining about a silent period two months prior to an election not specifically related to targets of his investigations (and he won't assume anything), then indictments can continue to be announced and active movements in the investigations can continue, WITHOUT violating any DOJ protocols.
