48. Ok. I have been Wracking my brain.

I am as southern as they come and I can think of the obvious response of ‘How Nice’. Which along with ‘Bless your Heart’ is Southern for Fuck You.

But a distinct southern Moniker? Drawing a blank.

I mean, Damn Yankee does not really work cause we have them just as bad.

Not looking for an argument. Just curious. I have always been intrigued with the variety of English we speak here in the South. Especially the tremendous variety from different regions.

Totally non related. Do you use the word ’tumped’? As in ‘I tumpted it over’. It was common in Louisiana and Arkansas but I never hear it in the eastern part of the South
