35. Re the debt. If he incurred it buying sports tickets, isn't that rather immature and foolish?

You go into debt for important things - houses, medical care (unfortunately), education - not baseball games. If this is the reason for the debt, it shows a severe lack of judgment and failure to see the big picture.
