She had promised not to reveal her name. She can ask a question to Kavanaugh about some allegation, but without being able to name the woman, it would have gone nowhere and just looked like the Dems were making stuff up.

She shouldn't have shown it to Grassley, though, if she wasn't able to act on it herself. That was a screwup. She was trying to be a "good girl" that Grassley approves of, rather than do her job, which in this case requires bold and not nice action.
