(31,261 posts)20. We have paper ballots in my county in Florida also.
Like you, I do in person early voting. I never wait until Election Day, so much can go wrong, I can have a crisis at my business, my oldest brother can be sick, just too many things can go wrong when I wait.
I will NEVER NEVER NEVER do a mailin vote in Florida.
Plus, when I early vote, I get instant notification that my vote has been counted. People can come up with fantastic stories about changed scanned numbers and lost ballots, but until we get people on our side making wise voting choices, we really can't attack that problem, because we make it easy for republicans to do a small amount of stuff that has a big impact, force them to have to make major changes that induce large risk of them being caught.

We have it here too, but people still do not show up at polls. Hence, voting by mail
