that at least our Gestapo-ICE is still subject to laws still on the books since before IQ45 was given the reins of power.

And I say "still" because we've crumbled so badly as a civilized nation since IQ45 took the reins that it's still very possible that our decline into corporate-fascist rule will reach ugly fruition.
