...she knows. For a million reasons of her own choosing, she's with him but she knows him. When she hears stories about being falling over drunk, she's been there. When she hears stories about him making lewd comment about other women, she's been there. Again, for a million reasons of her own choosing, she may not deal with it - but she knows (and he knows she knows) it in her heart.

Intuition is a powerful messenger.
