I have no idea why C-SPAN isn't showing as many debates this cycle. Fortunately some locals in each race have been dependably posting links.

The debate itself doesn't begin until more than 26 minutes into the video.

Overall it's easily the most civil debate I've seen this cycle. Both obeyed the debate format instead of stepping over the other's words or trying to squeeze in an extra comment. Bredesen was relaxed and matter of fact, doing very well overall including on health care. But he certainly played to the state he represents, unlike Beto the other night who sounded like he could have been speaking in any state. Both candidates spent the early going campaigning against Chuck Schumer.

I haven't been optimistic about this race due to high number of conservatives in Tennessee but maybe I'm wrong. Blackburn certainly seemed to be scared of how the race stands, referencing Hillary and Obama frequently along with the familiar assertion that voting for a Democrat means repeal of the 2nd Amendment. Bredesen was like the wise soft spoken elder professor.
