9. I really never dreamed someone this deeply not qualified for the presidency could win

I see Trump as the culmination of a society pummeled by FOX noise and hate radio. He's your typical FOX viewer becoming president. I see no way it will get better in the future. The next generation of GOP are born and raised on FOX noise. They're true believers. In 2016 I saw Trump as a horrible mistake. In 2018 I see Trump as the beginning of a wave of stupid. The GOP is broken. There's no mechanism to fix it. The nature of America's political system forces a 2 party system to exist. Thus, the American political system is broken. Sure, Dems might come to power where FOX noise is laughed at, but once again a two party system means the current GOP as broken as it is will always be around. You'd have to "fix" propaganda and there's no mechanism to do it.
