What was he doing supplying other kids with alcohol and possibly illegal drugs (boofing) – and who was supplying him???? Since the drinking age in Maryland then was 21, he would have had to have had a fake ID to buy the alcohol legally. I can't imagine his parents did not know he was coming home smashed night after night, and that they never smelled alcohol on his breath. And if so, why were they continuing to give him the keys to the car? I think there's a heckuva lot more to this story than what we know now, including the 'public service' activities he claims (but never identifies) to have done.
