(56,223 posts)...I sent a text to my immediate family to send an anniversary card to me and my husband. We got LEGALLY married in 2014 in Oklahoma. Our legal anniversary was 12 days after the election. I don't give a shit if my family or anyone recognizes our "legal" anniversary, but when this happened, I wasn't sure how long my husband and I would be "married". Frankly, I don't know how long it will last and I don't know that most people will really care if become "unmarried". If "gay marriage" gets challenged in a stolen SC gets overturned, I don't think straight people, most, will give two shits. I don't think they will take to the streets. I don't think they will stand with us. I don't think they will even care. I am preparing for the worst...I will be "unmarried" and no one will give a shit.
