Dems have no power to affect anything, and are totally ignored..

and (mark my words) IF we ever DO get power in the senate, we will "move forward"/"get past the unpleasantness"/"try to be bi-partisan", etc ad nauseum

until we lose power again and get our faces ground into the dirt..

rinse/repeat
