I am amazed at the people who have listened to me. I have more words than I have money or ability to trek the hills here in trump country. It seems when I take time and break it down in simple terms, pointing out what is REALLY happening in America they're finally woke. I love it when I see their eyes open and they realize their ignorance on the subject. I explain the things that converted me from R to D and they seem to seem to get it. I always explain to them that it has taken me some time to get the confidence to call and/or email my senators but nothing makes me perform better than a combination of fear and anger. They have some fear and anger when we talk about healthcare, senior issues, taxes, women's issues and the like - but the lack of basic decency in this administration is where I usually leave it. I reside in a small apartment complex in the Midwest -totally trump country. As far as I know in Nov. 2016 I was the only tenant in the complex to support the democratic party - in the primary we everyone voted republican - most supporting the bafoon in the WH. Now I'm told by several that there are no trump supporters here in the smaller cluster of 7 apartments that I live in. As for me, I have always been a never trumper and now I am a NEVER REPUBLICAN! I also gotta tell ya - I noticed this weekend that one of my neighbors has not only got her some democrat yard signs - but I'll be darn if there wasn't a stash of 4 more behind her A/C unit. Obviously she got some for family and friends
I haven't seen her yet to thank her for her support but plan to keep encouraging her (and everyone else I come into contact with). Her 94 yr old husband was the last one here to see the light but he's in ill health and not as out spiken as her - not sure if he agrees or just agrees with his younger healthier stronger more vocal wife that butters his damn bread!!! THANKS for your warm welcome and encouragement!!!
