12. This reminds me of a story about Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir.

There was a cabinet meeting and at one point the topic of rape came up. It seems there had been a marked upsurge in rapes in that country. One of the male ministers suggested imposing a curfew on women to deal with this. Meir supposedly answered, why not a curfew on men, since they're the ones doing the raping?

I don't know if that story is true. Probably should Google it, but that's what came to mind.

If men had to face the same constraints on their lives that women do because of rape culture, we might actually see some serious attention brought to the issue.
