4. Here's how it went down.

Ivana divorced Trump b/c of Marla.

Post-divorce, Trump squired Marla around his casinos and got her a starring role on Broadway (Tommy Tune's "Will Rogers' Follies).

Marla didn't enjoy being seen as "the other woman" and pressed him to marry her. Trump wasn't in a hurry.

Marla did the classic ploy to force the issue: She got pregnant and even gave birth to Trump's love child. No wedding for more than a year thereafter.

It was close to their wedding day and Trump played Hardball with Marla: I won't marry you without a prenuptial agreement. Marla balked, saying it wasn't necessary as they would be married forever.
