They have given in to the hate within all of us. We are tempted to the same but we can't. We can never match them cruelty for cruelty, hate for hate. But we can match love for hate. It isn't easy, loving your enemy. But it is how Martin Luther King won in his day. And how we can win in ours.

Love your enemy is not a moral imperative, it is a weapon.

There is a book on this called "The Power Tactics of Jesus Christ."
