3. It's just bizarre

How is it that so many of the ultra-rich seem to care about nothing but their own wealth? Maybe it's self explanatory; maybe most of them got to be ultra-rich by being wholly fixated on money. Maybe many of those that inherited vast sums have nothing else to validate their lives. I don't know. But it amazes me that so many rich people are so obtuse. The country is going to hell in a hand basket. It's crumbling around them. Their candidate is a tool. Yet he'll cut their taxes so he's their man. No matter what. I make a very good living and consider myself very fortunate. I'm never going to be ultra-rich, but I'm well off and can't complain, particularly since I grew up poor. That being said, cutting my taxes in order to screw everyone else is not what I'm looking for in a candidate and as my income and net worth has grown over the years that hasn't changed. Yet for most upper income bracket people that seems to be the only thing they see. It boggles the mind.
