51. It's not "haters." I've been here since 2001, and every election, these skirmishes happen.

There are some people, usually newer, that post things like this because they are genuinely concerned, as you seem to be, that this egregious crap is going around the internet.

Then, there are other DUers who seem to always post that crap... and suddenly, the rumor and bs is floating around on DU, being discussed, being indexed by search engines. There are people here who are not supporters of the Democratic ticket, who are here simply to disrupt, to cast doubt, etc. And some are paid to do it.

So there is this OTHER group of DUers that have seen this every single election, and react badly to it because they're tired of the paid trolls who pose as "concerned voters". It's a fine line.

There are a handful of DUers (not you,) that I can identify without even seeing the name of who started the thread. It's clear to me that they have an agenda, but I figure until other people figure it out and alert on them, I'll just wait.

Most of us don't want to give scumbags like Corsi the light of day, or their destructive and hateful rumors. It's not censorship, it's not dignifying it. We already know the enemy, and they suck.
