Perhaps at some point you'll volunteer to serve on MIRT; it's quite an eye opener.

In addition to their victims, though, it sounds like you'll also be able to recognize those who welcome their messages -- the kind of people who are just wired to attack inward. Discussions of Republican threats and atrocities are usually just grabbed as excuses to blame Democrats for not bothering to stop it. Bizarre dysfunction, but I've come to realize they can't change and aren't about to shut up because they feed on this stuff.

As a suggestion, as you identify those tedious people, maybe just send them off to "ignore" land. They can't be influenced, but they can be deleted from your world, and with them the dishonest propaganda some often employ as weapons for their passive-aggressive hostility.
